A period of stormy, frosty cold darkness. The planet of Esau was young, barren and harsh. A Winter of a cold no life could survive.

The first Winter

The crust grew harder, the planet was cleansed, and the astrosphere shifted.
This time was the first ice age, also called The Basal Winter or The Vaxil.
A geologic period during which thick ice sheets cover vast areas of land. Such periods of large-scale glaciation may last several million years and drastically reshape surface features of entire continents.
Lasted until around eleven million, eight hundred fifty thousand years before the Giants Vanished.

THE ENDURING ONES

The member of The Enduring Ones associated with Winter is Scythe as The Raven Queen. She is considered to be there in the beginning of life and at the end. She has the most to do with the people of Esau and Lyre.
Scythe was said to spend time roaming on the newly formed Esau watching life grow and find its potential.
