Night of Destiny
Night of Destiny, also known as the 'Night of Power', is observed on the last day (28th) of the month of Fexph in the Malnaxian calendar.
The night that inspired the celebration, is described as being "better than a thousand months". A time when the angels of Celestia sing to each person on the plane. They give guidance and renew self-belief. The gates to The Dream Realm open to allow the singing to reach each person in Esau.
The Night of Destiny is a night the blessings and mercy - when a person can feel abundant confidence and forgive themslves of their own sins. Time to refresh and challenge self.
Devotees will start the night offering special prayers, to the The Twin Moons, to the Fates who reside in Moirai within the Shadowfell, and to Destiny of The Endless. They meditate, while reciting phrases or prayers repeatedly, chanting in order to request guidance for themselves and loved ones. Typically accompanied by specific posture, breathing, and movement. They seek blessings for long life, peace and progress for themselves, their families, relatives, friends - as well as the region and nation in which they live.
On the night, if able to, devotees visit graveyards to seek eternal blessings for the departed souls of their near and dear ones. Before they head home for a sleep - often taking a special elixir to help them open their minds.
