The Sands

The most arid region on the continent, its people started their existence as hotile as their habitat, known to the other peoples as the Southern Savages until the prohpet Samarus crossed the Scortch to teach them the new way. Akir, a sparkling jewel atop sandstone cliffs is the capitol of the south, ituated at the crux of the Abyssal coast at the mouth of the Vipus river. to the south lies an impassible dessert called The Scorch. The Miasma drives victims to wander into this foresaken desolate region.
