The End of the War

Military: Battle

The final battle between the forces of Castle Sirather and Crook Crag. Crook Crag surrounds the city with the rogues and Illuthar soldiers, with the thieves guild of Sirather working from within.

In the early morning of the 38th day of the Orange Moon, the forces of Crook Crag descended upon the town. They came from the west and east but found that Sirather was ready for them.   It started with Crook Crag taking the Dancer's Sanctuary, on a cliff to the west of Sirather. This allowed them to use signal flags to organize the actions of the two separate armies. While this happened the eastern army marched onto the great bridge that spanned the River Huntry .   Sirathian Soldiers were ready for them, bolstered by 2 wizards of the Isle of Mystrium and their Sage. When the bridge began to be lost, the wizards blew up the bridge to make it increasingly difficult for the rogues to cross. Over the next 5 hours, the two forces clashed as the rogues used boats and makeshift bridges to cross.   During this time the Crook Craggian forces from the west gained the southern part of the town and began to pincer the Sirathian forces. They managed to pull back to the Noble Wall but night fell. With the reprieve they attempted to regain their footing.
