Vengeance Battalion

A battalion of dwarves that numbers 100 and is thought to be the most fierce and vicious fighters that the dwarves have to offer. They stand guard over the Pass of the Vigilant.   Each warrior is trained in martial arts and limited battle magic in order to be the elite fighting force. It is said that even the Illuthar  pause when they come up against these warriors.   They are recognizable by the armor that they wear. Each dwarf is allowed to augment their armor as they see fit but their helms are all the same. With twin horns of rams on them, the helmets are crafted by the initiates to the battalion when they want to join. They have to hunt the giant rams themselves and they must enchant them as well.

Spellcasting. The dwarf is a 5th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). The dwarf has the following wizard spells prepared:   Cantrips (at will): fire bolt, light, prestidigitation, ray of frost   1st level (4 slots): cause fear, earth tremor, magic missile     2nd level (3 slots): mirror image, misty step, melf's acid arrow   3rd level (2 slots): haste(self only), fireball


Ram's Helm. The dwarf can not be forced to move against its will except by forced teleportation.

The dwarf can make one longsword attack and weave a spell that requires a spell attack roll or a spell that targets the dwarf only into the attack.
