The Fen
This group evolved from a few members of the Disciples of Crerare over time they saw that the other races were not fit to handle the artifacts of Crerare nor were they fit rulers that would help the world grow. Using their magic and artifacts they began to wage a secret war on the other races and seek out new artifacts or magics to aid them in gaining dominance.
One of their targets is the city of Haben, this is where they pay the most attention. They are also heavily invested in the city of Crook Crag; although they realize there are many sources of power in that chaotic city.

The Maker is the leader who is responsible for changing the organization's agenda.
Beneath the Maker is his three lieutenants: The Hammer, The Fire, and The Anvil.
The Gatherers are the basic members of the group who each work beneath one of the lieutenants. It is believed that there are around 20 gatherers throughout the realms.
Hunters: A select few members who are tasked with hunting down ex-members or finding new ones.
Arcane Blades. Warriors who have been taught a modicum of arcane spells to help elevate their melee skills.
Outside of this Power structure is The Pale Man, Alaziel, who serves directly beneath the Maker.
Culture
The Fen is a xenophobic organization now comprised of humans and the occasional non-human (who are tricked into service). Many conceal their motives and hatred of Elves, Dwarves, and Hodrim to outsiders.
They view dwarves as a slave race still and their hatred of elves stems from the fact that they were the first mortal race but "fell from Grace" in the eyes of the Spirits.
History
In the year 423 The Maker managed to supplant the power of the leader of the Disciples of Crerare, eliminating those who did not agree with him and coercing others to join him. Fortunately, the entrance to the Tomb of Crerare was hidden from them so they could not gain access to the treasure trove of items.
14 years after its "founding" the Fen were stopped as they managed to enter the the Tomb of Crerare. Master Zanzana and all of the members were slain by Adventurers of the Briar as they chased after them into the tomb.
