The Halidore Isles
Also known as "The Frozen Star of the North", the Halidore Isles are a part of the continent of Azith - it is presumed to be a chunk of land which once belonged to the main continent itself.
Existing as it's own separate entity, The Halidore Isles still adheres to the laws of the Zeroth Dynasty. Its own capital, Dragon's End, is the centrepiece of the island, where Lord Lando Darkseeker is able to use his own judgement and rule over the island. With much larger matters of significant importance - such as high-level threats or those who require higher authority, these will be taken to Dragon's End for judgement, before potential transport to Azith (usually directly to Thiselwood) for final judgement/action.
Geography
An island of ice - frozen lakes, snow-capped mountains, and bitter winds - to the Northwest of the main continent of Azith.
Completely surrounded by the Azean Sea, but fresh water is always available in steady supply - filtered through the nearby mountains, the ice itself, or simply the machinations of the Gnomes and Dwarves of Mor Kazgor.
Food isn't always easy to come by due to the harsh conditions, however steady air and sea ship trade from Azith allows the inhabitants of the Halidore Isles to remain well-supplied.
Fauna & Flora
Notable flora - snowberries, some darkwood trees, various other plants found usually only in colder regions.
Natural Resources
Aerocrystal is fairly readily available in the Haildore Isles, as one of the chief exporters of the mysterious substance.
Eternal Ice is also occasionally found in the more desolate and frigid areas.
High concentration of Dwarvenstone in the mountains into which Mor Kazgor is built - owing to the sturdiness of the Aether Cannons produced within.
Other natural resources include standard ore such as copper, iron, etc.
