Lolth (LO-lth)

The Spider Queen

Lolth once lived as a mortal Elf, walking the planes of Erroth, growing in power as a priestess and healer, before ascending to Godhood. When the Nine Hells and the Abyss were created, Lolth took great interest in the latter, as her then close friend and confidant Shaxzar did in the former. Slowly Skaomune's corruption of those planes and of Shaxzar himself began to spread to her - her fascination with the Abyss growing all the while.
When the Fallen Lords were banished, Lolth retreated to the infinite layers of the Abyss, having been instrumental in the underhanded killings of a wide variety of Gods - including Yarron, the youngest brother of Aheyr & Kahir.
Within the Abyss, she dwelled, fashioning a new, more terrifying form for herself, and reaching out to others who would be banished and thrown away like she was - to the Dark Elves of Erroth, to those who would not walk Shaxzar's path and instead seek the power to rule over others, cold and calculating like herself.
