Orku'Divoch
The Savage Orks
The Orku'Divoch, known as the Savage Orks, are the most brutal and warlike subculture of the Mallkim’Hurai. Towering, ferocious, and utterly unrestrained by morality, they have embraced their cursed nature fully, rejecting any attempt at redemption or civilization. To them, the abyss is not a looming punishment but an inevitable truth—one they intend to face as conquerors, not as cowards.
Living in warbands that roam the desolate wastelands of Karatos, they are raiders, slavers, and warlords, taking what they need and crushing all who stand in their way. They do not mourn their severed connection to the Source—they revel in their savagery, believing that only strength, domination, and destruction define existence.
While other Mallkim’Hurai wrestle with the weight of their fate, the Orku'Divoch have made peace with their doom. They see their monstrous nature as a gift, a means to carve their legacy into the bones of the world before they are consumed by the abyss.
Physical Characteristics
The Orku'Divoch are the largest and most physically imposing of all Mallkim’Hurai, their monstrous forms shaped by centuries of unrelenting war and hardship.
- Height: 9 to 11 feet tall, towering over most other races.
- Build: Massive, with thick, corded muscles and grotesquely exaggerated physiques built for brute strength.
- Skin: Shades of deep green, gray, or almost black, often scarred and hardened like cracked stone.
- Tusks: Larger than any other Ork subculture, capable of ripping through flesh and bone with ease.
- Eyes: Glowing ember-like irises, flickering with an unsettling hunger for violence.
- Hair: Coarse and wild, often woven with bones, beads, and scraps of trophies taken from fallen enemies.
Unlike the Orku'Oras, who retain some refinement, or the Orku'Dibaje, who are malformed by their suffering, the Orku'Divoch are purely predatory. Every aspect of their being is built for destruction.
Culture & Customs
The Orku'Divoch have no formal governance or centralized society. They exist in nomadic warbands, each led by the strongest and most ruthless warrior. Their culture revolves around war, domination, and proving one’s worth through bloodshed.
The Law of Strength
The only law among the Orku'Divoch is that power dictates all. If one desires leadership, they must take it by force. If one is too weak to defend what is theirs, they do not deserve to have it. Betrayal is expected, and only the most cunning and brutal survive long enough to become true warlords.
Rituals of Blood
Their rites are brutal and often involve displays of extreme endurance, pain tolerance, or sheer violence. Some of their most infamous traditions include:The Red Baptism
A coming-of-age ritual where a young Orku'Divoch must kill an enemy barehanded and bathe in their blood. Failure means exile or death. The Unchained Feast
After a great battle, the victors eat the hearts of fallen foes to consume their strength and honor the abyss. The Branding
Warriors who achieve great feats in battle burn sigils into their flesh, marking them as living legends among their kind.Code of the Abyss
Unlike the Orku'Oras, who seek redemption, or the Orku'Dibaje, who wallow in despair, the Orku'Divoch see their inevitable damnation as fuel for their ambition. They believe:
- Mercy is a lie.
- Pain is a test.
- Weakness is a disease.
- The abyss takes all—so they will take everything first.
Settlements & Way of Life
The Orku'Divoch do not build cities. They do not farm, craft, or create in the traditional sense. Instead, they take. Their entire existence revolves around raiding, plundering, and enslaving those who dare live in their path.
Warband Strongholds
Their “settlements” are little more than mobile camps built from salvaged materials, bones, and whatever they have stolen from others. These camps shift frequently, as they never stay in one place for long—always seeking fresh conquests.
When a warband does establish a semi-permanent base, it is usually:
- A fortress of bones and iron, decorated with the remains of those they have conquered.
- Built within ruins, often desecrating what remains of the ancient Source Tree’s shattered lands.
- Guarded by monstrous war-beasts, bred or enslaved to act as living siege weapons.
Hierarchy & Warlords
Leadership is earned through combat, and the strongest warrior leads until they are slain. Challenges to leadership are frequent, and betrayal is seen as a natural way of life. A warlord who cannot hold their title by force does not deserve it.
The mightiest of these leaders are known as Bloodlords, individuals whose conquests are so great that even other warbands submit to their rule—at least until they grow weak.
Clothing & Aesthetics
The Orku'Divoch do not wear elaborate garments or adorn themselves with anything that does not serve a purpose. Their attire is purely functional, designed for war and intimidation.
Armor
Salvaged and scavenged, often pieced together from fallen foes. Some wear jagged plates of blackened metal, while others prefer leather harnesses reinforced with bone.Trophies
Bones, skulls, and weapons taken from the slain serve as both decoration and proof of dominance.War Paint & Blood Markings
Their bodies are often smeared with the blood of enemies, mixed with ash to create crude war sigils. Their appearance is meant to instill terror. To see an Orku'Divoch is to know that death follows close behind.Cuisine & Diet
The Orku'Divoch eat whatever they can take, and their diet is as savage as their reputation suggests.Primary Foods
Raw Meat
Often consumed fresh from the kill, sometimes still twitching.Blood Soup

Consumed before raids to heighten aggression and dull pain.Drinks
Fermented Bone Broth
A thick, pungent drink made from the marrow of slain beasts.Abyss Ale

Gorefang Beasts
Massive, tusked war mounts used to trample enemies beneath their hooves.Ash Hounds
Hellish, red-eyed beasts that hunt in packs, trained to tear apart fleeing foes.Bone Serpents
Giant, skeletal snakes infused with abyssal energy, coiling around enemies to crush them.Blood Hawks
Razor-winged birds used as scouts and harbingers of incoming warbands. These creatures are not mere animals—they are tools of destruction, trained to kill without hesitation.Philosophy & Worldview
The Orku'Divoch do not see themselves as victims of the curse. They see it as their liberation—freedom from the weakness of conscience, civilization, and regret. They believe that only the strong deserve to rule, and only those who carve their names into history will be remembered when the abyss finally claims them.
To them, the world is a battlefield. And they will not go quietly into the void.
They will make the world bleed first.
