Fleet is the goddess of swiftness, weather, beauty and competition. Known to be extremely beautiful, Fleet is also a common muse for many artists in both paintings and statues. In addition, she also represents triumph in competition of all kinds, including inner and outer beauty. True to her name, Fleet is as fast as the wind and as strong as a gale. She is oftentimes considered the embodiment of storms.
Many of her followers have a strong desire and drive to win in all categories, as well as to remain humble in defeat. Underneath her beauty, she is the powerful goddess of storms, wind and rain. She is sometimes depicted in full armor, with an ornate winged helmet and spear of pure lightning pulled from the heavens themselves.
Churches of Fleet are often beautiful and ornate in tribute to their goddess, but not wastefully excessive with their decoration. Inside the halls of her church those who are well versed in star reading gather, while aspirants are tasked with delivering the readings to those who dwell nearby. In this way, Fleet is said to watch over her subjects and forewarn them of impending danger or strife. Some of the temples also serve as competition grounds or fighting pits, as these are forms of worship of Fleet.
The Clergy of Fleet are often artists, curators, weather watchers, match makers, or messengers. Churches of Fleet double as museums, and art galleries. They are covered in beautiful stained glass windows, masterful painting and sculptures. Many of them serve as stargazers and meteorologists, as they believe that the rain, the wind, and the storms can be predicted as they come from Fleet herself.
The armed version of Fleet’s church often are sighted at the center of storms to hone their craft, protecting works of art and music, and at sites of competition. They are called Stormbringers. The armed clergy of Fleet are often seen at the side of other deities clergy such as
Pith and
Writ, to defend the common people from tyrants and evil across the world. High Priests of Fleet are called the Marigolds, and can be seen praying to the skies for rain to soak a dry land, or to bless grounds of competition. They can also be found simply just painting beautiful works of art in the temple or particpating in a performance.
