Keldak

Keldak, often called the "Dragon's Song" in native Nal'tua language, is the smallest, and most iconic of Erlyse's moons. While true details about it eludes the denizens of Erlyse, seeing as only one being has ever left Erlyse and shared stories (See: Aondari), Keldak has an exceptionally thick atmosphere that would be immediately toxic to the races of the world. With carbon, silica, sulphur and titanium particles formed in a type of dust that comprises the majority of its atmosphere, Keldak appears like a black ball of soot decorated with orange spiderwebs in high turmoil. The heavy particles that make the moon's clouds are highly affected by both Erlyse's gravity and the buffeting of solar winds, keeping the patterns in constant motion, mesmerizing many of Erlyse's residents.

Nal'tua believe that Keldak is the original home of their first ancestors, and the moon's awe inspiring appearance is symbolic, meant to imitate the eyes of the first Nal'tua, Eison'keld, of whom the name Keldak was derived from by humans. Nal'tua also follow the lunar calendar of Keldak for making decisions involving their personal lives, such as when to have children, whether an opportunity that has been presented is blessed with good or ill omens, when they have celebrations, and sometimes... for the more radical ones, it dictates their hunting and eating habits.
