Grellkite

Also known as a "Tundra Glider" or "Snub-nosed Burrower", the Grellkite is a unique six-legged mammal that dominates the majority of the Strenn archipelago off the coast of Ourobos. Not true natives of the area, they have adapted to the harsh conditions of the islands rather well, resulting in a rather explosive population which has been kept from becoming a disaster for the ecosystem only by the presence of the male Nal'tua of the region who serve as the creature's only true predator outside of the animal's home area of the northern tip of Kuhlaine. These creatures are fairly shrewd and crafty, and exhibit a fair level of intelligence despite still being a feral creature. They make decent pets for folk who are able to put up with the animal's rambunctious nature.
