Da'amu (Da-ah-moo)
The Da'amu was a secret religious cult that the Kenku began. The exact dates are lost but the mark of the ancient organization are still very much evident today. The Organization sought to return humans to the time before existence on Asmatum. The organizations Leader Venzer Keytor believed the story told on the Tablet of Mummu was mostly accurate. however he believed that Ninti did not build us from noting but instead yanked each race from it place in Arbutu. The organization wanted to restore our former existence believing that our current existence was of a lesser quality.
Disbandment
the Da'amu were scattered after the Festival of Acendance, the people of of Gal forced them out because of there foolish and greedy nature. The lose of there wings were believed to be the punishment of Mummu for trying to corrupt Ninti's creation and the people of Asmatum shunned the Kenku for hundreds of years.
Mythology & Lore
the Da'amu believed much like most people following Awekiatism that Mummu created Tiamatsu out of the primordial plane Arbutu. they beileved that the Gods Ninti and Matum made Eridu. The difference in belief is that the leader of Da'amu believed that the Races of Asmatum were taken from Arbutu and placed on Eridu as lesser forms of their original selves.
Divine Origins
Venzer Keytor had a dream one night and believed he was visited by the creature nigki a primordial being the showed him the true history of the birth of Eridu. Nigki showed Venzer that the Kenku was the apex creature in Arbutu and that Mummu gave the the heart of Kenku to Ninti along with the hearts of other creatures in the Tool of Sabita.
