The Arbor Company is a merchant organization run by the Redmane family of Bannesfield Prefecture, in the Empire of Demenia. The Arbor Company is run by Evony Redmane on paper but in practice her uncle, the Count of Eastmarch, Alfred Redmane, along with a small cabal of merchants and nobles, manage the entire organization.
The initial Redmane investments into the league's formation and first excursions into Jandal paid off handsomely for the family. For more than a hundred years the Arbor Company, and the Redmane family through it, have had a monopoly on the overland trade with and through Jandal all the way to the city of Ein Bowra in the Kingdom of Traia, a continent away.
The first excursion took place more than a hundred and forty years ago and the Arbor Company, at the direction of various Redmanes through the years, have branched out into mining, shipping, banking and a dozen other industries in the Empire. This has made the Redmane family the single wealthiest family in the empire, richer even than the Emperor himself.
