Kingdom of Luxcis
Luxcis, also called the Golden Kingdom or the Kingdom of Light, is the most powerful nation in Eridania, and is considered as the capital of the whole planet, because in its territory is the seat of the Elder Council.
Despite all its power and influence, Luxcis is one of the newest kingdoms on the planet, its territory having been consolidated many years after the founding of the Council. The kingdom is a monarchy, like all other kingdoms of Eridania, but had only one official monarch. Due to some situations that have occurred, the government is currently in charge of the Regents, who govern in the name of the Royal Family until it can be restored.
History
Luxcis was one of six new kingdoms that formed after the creation of the Elder Council. It was formed by the joining of several small territories which did not officially belong to any other kingdom and which had caused many disputes in the early days of history.
Those lands had already proved their historical importance to the planet, serving as a background for both legends and official historical records. There the first meeting of what would be the Elder Council and the Battle of the Guardians against Obscurium occurred, and according to legend, it had been from there that Ninfena begun to create the life of the planet. From the beginning, many peoples left their native kingdoms to live in those lands, considering them a sacred place.
These peoples began to form diverse settlements even before the foundation of the Council, and they had good relations among themselves. With the emergence of the city of Adris Eleos, today the capital, the idea of unification has become stronger and stronger. The leaders of these city-states presented their idea to the Council, and had appointed as leader one of the greatest heroes of that land: Serenya Asteris, granddaughter of Isis and descendant of the goddess Ninfena, for the young princess was a great warrior and loved by the people, always helping to keep the peace there. After a long discussion, of which Isis abstained, the project presented was approved, and Luxcis officially became a nation of Eridania, being ruled by Queen Serenya of the newly founded House Eleon.
The kingdom's capital was established at Adris Eleos along with the seat of the Elder Council, and the leaders of the former city-states were now part of the Luxcis's Inner Council, in order to defend the ideals of all parts of the kingdom. And the city grew more and more, and the people prospered even with the difficulties due to the frequent attempts of invasion by the League of the Darkness.
Some time later, the queen married the prince regent of the Angels, Orion Lazuli, with whom she had twin children, Mearos and Lucia. Lucia turned out to be the Daughter of the Light, the one who would restore peace on the planet and destroy the League once and for all. But hope was short-lived. Lady Dark launched the terrible plague, and Luxcis was the one who suffered the greatest impact. The heiress of the throne was dead, and her family shattered in mourning. Queen Serenya left the throne, and never again did a monarch of Eleon blood sit in the Palace of Light.
After the plague was eliminated, the Council chose a family to rule as Regents until the day the Eleon government was restored. House Adaon, who were faithful advisors to the Queen, was the chosen one, and its members have governed Luxcis ever since.
