Springtide, Spring's Waxing Crescent Moons

The two waxing crescent moons mark the beginning of springtime. Taking place during the Budding Moon (3/4), Springtide is the second of the two high profile holidays associated with two gods instead of the more common singular: Astrid and Lephanie. The winter is ending, thawing out, and new life is coming.   Families gift each other hand made items/crafts, usually made from supplies received during the New Moons Celebration. It is also common for small gifts to be made for Lephanie in hopes she will remember to find them a good vessel if their souls are judged for rebirth.   After honoring Lephanie, celebrants visit their local Temple to Astrid for the fair.   It is a hopeful holiday.
