Lephanie
Lephanie is one of Astrid, god of life, and Joran, god of balance, twin daughters. She is the god of rebirth. She finds new vessels for souls once a vessel dies if her father judges that they are not ready to move on to the next realm. Lephanie is associated with fertility and reproduction- the creation of new vessels.
Lephanie is a member of the third tier of the Seese Pantheon- divinities that are the children of second tier divinities. Some of Lephanie's euphemisms include: The Fertile One, Lady Retribution, Rising Sun.
I hope Lady Retribution sends you back as a donkey, because YOU'RE AN ASS!The heart of Lephanie's worship is located in the Free City of Joran; her temple there is located on the East side of the city, exactly opposite of her sister, Dathne's, temple on the West side.
Clergy
The highest rank is the Lifewarden, followed by Wardens, Advocates, Fecunds, and Ovates. Advocates help followers make sure they will be reborn into a better life. Fecunds are purportedly exceptionally fertile; couples who struggle with infertility seek their "guidance".Impact on Secular Society
Expectant mothers with no desire to rear a child are welcomed and cared for by the clergy; it is also a safe place to leave a baby. Babies in need of homes are matched with couples who could not be helped by the Fecunds- Lephanie answers prayers in many ways.Birth
Lephanie and Dathne were the first beings that Seese did not create. They grew out of the love that Astrid and Joran had for one another. Seese bestowed souls on the twins. However, Astrid was more focused on the ability to create than the creations, and they were raised almost entirely by Joran. Still, it was Lephanie's desire to attain some of Astrid's attention that lead Her to watch over Astrid's creations and match souls to new vessels as they entered the world.
