Bleedaje
Bleedaje is a legendary title bestowed by the Rena Government on a great defender. It was said that all three of the noble houses had to unanimously agree to bestow it, and the three houses agreeing on anything was legendary in and of itself.
Ancient History
Fairy Stories describe the Bleedaje as a great warrior rising to a challenge that threatens Renamos. They were always brave in the face of certain death, never wavering, and usually bathed in the blood of Rena's enemies. The story of the Aswang hunter, Don Athra, has been retold countless times: sometimes as a cautionary tale to frighten wayward children, sometimes as an epic adventure tinged with horror, and even a bit of love, and sometimes a dark comedy.Recent History
In 314 hundreds of long imprisoned magical beings were released from their stasis all at once. Most were absent from the world for multiple centuries, and it had radically changed in their absence. Some of the former denizens, like the Rocs, were able to return to their former homes with only little disturbance, but others did not resettle well. Suddenly dangerous creatures like Manticore, Lamia, Chimera, etc. were heading to their old homes and clashing with the new residents. A young warrior, Wyam, emerged in this time as a slayer of monsters. Tales of his exploits spread through the countryside as he saved the people from marauding creatures. The title was revived from legend in 317 when it was awarded to Wyam; he met his future wife, Conna of the House of the Coin, at the ceremony.
