The earliest era involving the joining of communities into legitimate kingdoms and empires. The first five hundred years contained only kingdoms, however not long after this the human kingdoms began conquests against the other races and each other, resulting in the first wars between nations. It does not take long before multitudes of kingdoms and countries are absorbed by others, and became their own empires. Eventually the world was divided into five empires; the Empire of the Seas, the Dracon empire, the Dwarven empire, the Elven empire, and the Human empire.

The first conflict of Erelest, followed by a series of wars that lasted until a treaty was formed by the remaining countries.
The founding of the Otelan Empire. Dominated primarily by humans, they initiated the wars and thus were the first to be established.
The founding of the Anusaentis, the ocean empire, and Lesaethea, the elven empire, as well as the first alliance between empires.
The founding of the Dravulthyn Empire. Dominated by the dwarves, their castles and fortresses acted as an impenetrable border.
The founding of the Trayedora Empire. Having been bystanders throughout this long war, the dracon were finally called to battle by their gods to end the conflict.
The leaders of all five empires gathered, and one by one signed the Heavens Treaty, ending the war between them all.
This is the most mysterious era of the history of Erelest. Far more than the Dawning Era. For at some point in time whether by magic, godly intervention, or some other means, every individual's memory regarding its era's time period, most of every piece of architecture, tool, script and the like have been wiped from the face of Erelest. There are on occasion certain discoveries that do not seem to fit in any of the known eras, and thus it's assumed they come from the Dark Age, but with no definitive evidence to support these assumptions, they likely will be nothing more than speculation. The only true hope Erelest has to lift this cloud of mystery and discover what had occured comes in the form of either the Gods sharing this knowledge, which is highly unlikely, and that some ancient being deep in the underdark knows and is willing to share, which is even less likely.
No one knows how, nor why, but the five empires are either destroyed, fall apart, fragment, or simply vanish during the Dark Age, and a multitude of kingdoms are left in their absences.
At some point during the Dark Ages, Half-Elves and Half-Orcs were born into the world.
This era is particularly short as it is more or less the races of Erelest coming to terms with a massive blot in their history (the dark age), and adjusting to their new state. No signs of the empires prior to "the dark age" exist, and in addition the half-orcs and half-elves appear to have been in this era from the beginning and end, meaning they must have first appeared somewhere in "the dark age".

A pre-planned war sparks as assassins kill off the leaders of opposing kingdoms and armies surge into their neighboring kingdoms, officially breaking the Mind-Mist Treaty.
While magic existed prior to this era, it was during this age when the multitude of people began to understand how it worked, how to harness it, and how to use it. During this era magic-users began to appear everywhere, slowly outnumbering the clerics and druids. This era was a turning point in Erelest's history and would forever change the course of history.
Meicorai Lokronal begins to master his skills as a spellsword & through his adventures spreads his name & skill, effectively revolutionizing the concepts of magic and martial combat.
A new religion named Ahkiil is formed, which greatly differed from most of the other races, and is known to be the origin of the Anrikiiil Empire.
Also known as the "era of changing", the kingdoms across Erelest were constantly at war with one another. Some wars were done so out of hate for other races. Others were for personal or political gain. Alliances were forged, enemies declared, and kingdoms changed every few years to every few hundred. The nephilim are born during this era and cause the end of it.
The Nephilim launch a mass war against the rest of the world, aided by devils and denizens of the underdark. They ultimately failed, but the damage was devastating.
As the "war of sin" ended, many countries turned to their gods for aid and guidance with restoring the land and it's people, and heal the damage dealt by the forces of hell. During this period the gods became somewhat active upon the calls of their people, to the point of establishing the acolytes.
Warfare has sparked once again, however it is far more mild than before, and is overshadowed by the technological advancements made as a result of said wars.
The invention of Coffee. With this new stimulant, many have gained inspiration across Erelest, and as a result it's also called "Inventor's Brew".
The heavy plow was invented. This revolutionized the manner in which farming was handled.
The invention of eyeglasses. This revolutionized the technological age as those with poor eyesight could continue to work.
The invention of the Astrolabes. This invention made astrology far easier, as well as navigation, and thus was used by many nations.
The invention of the alembic. Created to dilute liquids this revolutionized both alchemy and liquor.
The invention of the spinning wheel. This made mass producing clothes and other cloth-made items far more easy.
The invention of the Pintle and Gudgeon Stern Mounted Rudders. This revolutionized sea travel and opened many trade and travel routes.
The invention of the Spindial. This was revolutionary for everyone as it allowed everyone to keep track of time regardless of where they are.
The invention of the Treadmill Cranes. This revolutionized construction, making larger projects more manageable, and far quicker.
