The Night of Dagger

Criminal Activity

419 AD

A pre-planned war sparks as assassins kill off the leaders of opposing kingdoms and armies surge into their neighboring kingdoms, officially breaking the Mind-Mist Treaty.

The night of the Dagger was a turning point in this era and sparked the wars that broke the treaty and returned things to the 'normal' that would be known for a long period of time. No race was guiltless in this night, for those who committed these acts were not allied by any one kingdom, though research seems to suggest that they were at least hired or somehow linked to certain kingdoms. The ones who drew their blades on this night were known as the Kingkiller guild. One of the most famous and dangerous assassin guilds in history, and known for their audacity to accept any target whether they be powerful or protected. Kings and queens, princes and princesses, generals and such leaders were all targeted on this night. The entire guild was at work and the blood that was spilled threw the entire world into turmoil. Attempted assassinations were normal. Mass assassinations across kingdoms of entire royal families and their military leaders however, was something that even the most distant countries were forced to take notice of. With the treaty broken but no evidence of who hired the assassins, the continents of Eras and Zurasis both fell into chaos, with the continent of Ainoa aiding every side as mercenaries, as they did not know who was in the right or wrong.
