Stonesipher Foundation

Composition

Manpower

It is well known that a typical Stonesipher unit consist of only two operatives, the Infiltrator and the Correspondent. As their name implies, the Infiltrator's job is to sneak into potentially hostile territories and gain information. His correspondent retrieves this information via a code known only to Stonesiphers and relays it to his superiors.

Equipment

The Stonesiphers keep their techniques secret from the outside world. One thing known by all is that a Stonesipher is never found with pen and ink. One aspect of their discipline is focused on honing one's mind and displaying those thoughts on the page in the form of written word. Stonesiphers also wear a mask that conceals their identity as they walk among the people. Outside of friendly borders, they use other methods to mask who they are.

Structure

Each Stonesipher unit operates autonomously after receiving their mission from their quartermaster. The senior operative is usually the Infiltrator with the junior serving as the Correspondent.

Tactics

Stonesiphers are mainly trained for stealth and covert missions, but when combat inevitably breaks out Stonesiphers have an arsenal of magic and weaponry to protect themselves.

Logistics

Recruitment

Every twenty years, the Stonesipher Foundation selects children at random to be agents under their wing. For the rest of their life, these children train every day until they reach the age of eighteen. At this point, they become independent Stonesipher agents in their own unit.

History

The Stonesipher Foundation is one of the few institutions in the Dominion that have been around since its inception. During the war, it was created as a way to train elite agents loyal to the Dominion.
