Glorious Republic

Very large state southeast of The Empire and east of the Synoppeian Empire, dominated by Hobgoblins . "Glorious Republic" is the Common translation of what in the Dahvic language is called 'Vazh Qafadda'.
The Republic has no monarch and (in theory at least) no single leader, but is governed by many committees and councils. Membership and chairmanship of these committees and councils is the key to power for ambitious hobgoblins.
There is no commerce in the Republic. Neither is there currency. Committees determine who does what and for what reward. Citizens must do what they are told. They have almost no freedom to make their own choices in life.
As well as hobgoblins (Dahvoi), citizens of I Vazh Qafadda include Bugbears and some Humans (mostly freed slaves).
Slavery is widespread and pervasive. Although citizens have few rights, they still have more freedom than the many slaves. There are human slaves and even Dwarf, Elf , Gnome, Halfling and Lizardmen slaves, but most slaves (as many as 90%) are Goblins. (The Common Tongue word for hobgoblin is derived from that for goblin because of this association, but in truth the two races are unrelated.)
