Tremont plateau

Now covered mostly by forests, lakes and valleys, this was once a wast desolate wasteland. The three volcanoes that frame the plateau where once upon a time erupting constantly, spewing forth ash and molten rock, making the landscape a inhospitable hellscape. At some point, the volcanoes rage subsided and the enriched soil they left behind gave birth to a flourishing dense forest, the valleys carved by lava filling with water and forming lakes and rivers.
