The High Tide Inn

Located on one of the steepest cliffs overlooking the harbor, in a natural cave some 120 feet above the waters, the High Tide offers some of the most spectacular views of the Bay of Light in Candance as well as serving upp affordable food, drink and accommodation for weary travelers.

Purpose / Function

Being one of the largest and oldest taverns in the Harbor Ward has made the High Tide the go-to destination for newly arrived travelers coming by water or air. It's often the assigned meeting place for both new business partners and friends going out for a pint, and sports a lively and varied crowd almost every night.

Alterations

The natural cave that the Inn is base around can still be seen in the walls and ceiling of the main taproom of the High Tide, the smooth stone carved down by the elements over time complimented by more recent dark oak floorboards. Many sidechambers, sleeping rooms and stores have been added over the years, carved into the stone with arced cellings and wooden walls seperating the larger chambers into rooms. The Inn now has two full floors, a large outdoor terrace and several rooms for rent, many with a view of the ocean.
