Myth

A myth or fairytale about a prophecy, oracle, fortune-telling or other revelation

The headlines on international radio and tv broadcasts, global newspapers and Internet all showed the pictures of UFO's (Unidentified Flying Objects) at the edge of our solar system. Voyager 2 transmitted pictures of the Oort cloud showing moving objects. The headlines shouted "It was true! Aliens are invading!"
Prophets popped up like rabbits. and everyone tried to earn something out of it. Some even quoted Nostradamus. He would have prophesized the end of the world.

Without any means of confirming or denying it, NASA started planning to investigate with a new unmanned probe. The Voyager III program was launched and the best scientists in the world are now working on the Voyager III.

2093 After two years the news was old, it became common knowledge and people assumed it was true or not true, depending on who you asked. Many believed it a hoax or conspiracy theory. Some even considered that it was just another way to get more funding for the NASA space program. that said, many of them also believe the earth is flat.

2095 the unmanned probe Voyager III is launched on its way to the location that has been watched eversince. The Voyager 2 tok 43 years to reach the location, for the voyager III it should be less then 10, thanks to slingshotting around the sun and a new propulsion system giving it a higher starting velocity

2104 the first images are in and researched. The sightings that have been observed are now confirmed. The US government decides to keep the information classified, the public is kept in the dark.
