Surrounded by heavy jungle a landing pad sticks out of the trees...
Purpose / Function
This outpost is, or rather was a helipad. As helipad it was in dissaray and someone used materials to build a cabin beneath the platform. The platform is still sturdy enough to hold small vehicles.
Alterations
A small cabin has been attached to the bottom. the metal struts are protected with kevlar rims and a coating to prevent jungle creep.
Architecture
Metal struts are build on a strong stone base that holds a large metal construction. Yhe metal struts are durable and very strong. In the past Strong enough for larger helicopters to land.
To reach the heliplatform there was originally a road cars. But nature has taken over the road. The fuel tanks are rusting...
Under the small platform is a cabin, reachable with a ladder. The jungle beneath it has reached the teflon coated plating and is unable to penetrate the material. dirt inside the plating has already formed a base for new plants and it will only take a few years for the platform to dissapear.

History
these paltform where once the pride and joy of the national firebrigade. They where able to land and refuel the choppers.
