The Bellowing Summit
Considered by many scholars and scribes as the center of known life on the planet, the Summit stands towering where the five continents are connected to one another via the petrified Titans. At its peak lies the ripple in the world that connects those inexplicably linked to the divine to the gods that lord over Epposia. The landmass surrounding it is of little interest in comparison to the Summit, in large majority because of the sheer size of it and just how much of the landmass is encompassed by the base of the mountain. Beneath the surface of the continent is the world's dominant leyline from which the world's magic emanates. Once a beautiful sight, virgin to the machinations of humans, has long since been built upon and used as a capital for the The Holy Empire . None now know where its name originated from, however many have speculated that its name reeks of the implication that it is a volcano whose eruption could bring about the world's end. None have yet journeyed to the top to verify the authenticity of that speculation.
Geography
The mountain that stands tall over the world, threatening to scrape the sky itself. From the summit one could see to the very far reaches of the planet's surface, with the right equipment, without ever having to consider obstructions of view. It is settled in the very center of a small continent by which the other five are connected. Along its base is the opening to the Underdark, the place where would-be mages are sent when it is time for them to be tested for their worth as being a member of society. Stepping foot near it, the power of the ley line beneath it is palpable in the air.
Fauna & Flora
Any fauna that once lived on the mountain and its surrounding landmass has been long destroyed, and the only flora that thrives here any longer are hardier crops that do not require soft and fertile soil.
Natural Resources
Most of the Summit's resources are gathered from the very surface of the Underdark, as they are needed. The gems and metals mined here are unusually hard and pliable, making them excellent for everything from artisan's tools to siege weaponry. A high premium is charged on these materials due to their rarity and the dangers that obtaining them encompasses.
