Epposia, Blessed by the Gods
As you stand at the peak of the mountain, and can see over the skyline and into the distance. The clouds don't interfere with your sight almost as if the gods themselves have blessed you with sight beyond sight. You stand in the center of the interconnected landmass of the world, atop the Billowing Summit. To your North, Comaar's lush green forests coat the landscape and is carved through by a mountain range that scrapes against the clouds. To the Northeast, Arupaamo's deserts stretch for farther than the eyes can see and seem to curve over the skyline into the endless expanse of space. To the Southeast Coveitrun's rolling plains cover the landscape and its scattered settlements stand as a testament to the will of the people. To the Southwest, Averdere's picturesque land encompasses many of the varied types of land in the world and is, in a sense, a jack of all trades - save for the Obsidian Spire that towers beyond the cloud. To the Northwest, Gersaint has received the brunt of the influx of magic from the gods' influence; its landscape is wild and untamed, yet does not have any identifier that makes it its own. In the center, the land you stand on, is the Misa Lands - its body is taken up almost entirely by the Billowing Summit and the magic in the air is palpable.
The magic of the gods has influenced this world, and you can see it even as you scale back down the mountain. You pass by the patrols of Empire soldiers as you go, reminding you of their tyranny even without so much as a glance in your direction. You clutch tight to an heirloom as they come to you, taking you away to be tried simply because magic courses through you.
