Kingdom of Knerek
The Kingdom of Knerek is a nation built upon the skeletons of a great Dwarven Hold. Ruling out of Kharak-Thome, Queen Firswa is the descendent of the original chieftan who conquered the mighty city. Knerek has three distinct cultures within it that work together to hold the nation together. The artisans of Kharak-Thome populate the capital city, having learnt to work it's mighty forge they craft the highest quality arms, armour and tools for the rest of the nation. The sailors of the Sea of Advent sail out from the various costal villages that make up the bulk of Knerek's population, fishing, raiding and trading. The hunters of the taiga are nomadic peoples who hunt, forage and trap.
History
Kharak-Thome was the jewel of dwarven civilization prior to the Dawn War. Though it survived the Dawn War it was greatly diminished with 9 in 10 citizens slain. By the time the Godless appeared on Eotha their population was till far off the size needed to man Kharak-Thome's defenses effectively. The humans on the other hand, seemed almost endless in number. Though the humans treated with them for succour, the dwarves fearing the unknown refused. The humans, starved and desperate assaulted the city, overwhelming the defenders. Furious at the dwarves' unwillingness to aid those in need, the humans exiled them from their own home, claiming the city of stone for their own.
