Duchy of Brythnholme

The Duchy of Brythnholme is a wide duchy stretching from the Giantshield Mountains in the west to the Mountains of Cail in the east. Both mountain ranges are difficult to traverse and this has left Bythnholme with the bitter-sweet privilege of being the only land access between the Kingdom of Wyrthanhaal in the north and the Holy Platinum Empire in the south. At one time or another Bythnholme has been affiliated with each of these nations and the Duchesses of Bythnholme are famous for their ability to weather the political intrigues and wars fought between the two.
