Nydenland

The Principality of Nydenland is a territory of the Holy Platinum Empire that borders with Brythnholme. Nydenland is sparsely populated by Empire standards and is covered mostly rolling hills that offer little beyond pastures for hardy breeds of goat and sheep. However Nydenland has one key resource, platinum. The Platinum Mines of Eichenvald (Nydenland's capital) bring the prince a great amount of wealth and influence despite the princedom's size and lack of other resources.

Structure

The Prince of Nydenland is an member of the Imperial Electorate making him an Elector Prince of the Holy Platinum Empire. The Prince is guided by a privy council led by the Chancellor, traditionally the Chancellor is a member of one of the three noble families other than the prince's who own a platinum mine in the region.
