Jaileen and back to Garabas

611 AU, Steldag (2nd day) in the Second Galend of Chefror (day 62 of the year, 2nd day of Sword in the month, of the Hawk Dragon Isles calendar)
The morning brought news that Stero Kemp would be continuing on to Selmorron on her own. The Guards were paid some of their wages and the paid travelers were thanked and told Stero Kemp would be returning to Garabas in a couple days.
Llied wanted to see her cousin, Pàra Sùdrachin, and find out if he had any work for her. When she asked around the villagers were very concerned that she was asking about Pàra but cautiously suggested she go to the Dreistgueiv (Lost Sword) close to the Selmerron Trail gate. Llied also found out that the name referred to the story of how the High Chief Teague, over 800 years ago, lost the sword Marwolaeth Gobobl, which was a gift from the Tylwyth Teg.
Once Llied found the tavern she asked about her cousin and was pointed to a shadowy place in the corner or the pub. Llied immediately noticed that several of the people around her cousin, as well as her cousin, had tattoos similar to what the thieves in Militas had worn. Pàra was kind but also suggested that she did not need/want to stay here and recommended she go back home.
Walking back to the Inn Llied noticed that she was being followed.
Flarty, had last night bumped into his family friend Serr Teirtu Glas and walked over to the Inn where he was staying. Asking for him at the front desk the Inn Keeper told him the room but when Flarty came to the door it was ajar and when he looked in he say the family friend laying in a pool of his own blood. In his dying last words Serr Glas asked Flarty to take his riding bag and share the contents of its secret pocket to a man in Garabas. He also gave Flarty a special coin and who he was to meet.
Stunned Flarty walked down the stairs with the saddle bag over his shoulder and told the Inn Keeper that Serr Glas was dead. The town guard quickly came and then took Flarty to the B'ran Rhydwyn Gaynor's Manour House where a quick inquisition determined that Flarty was not guilty of the murder and was given ownership of the saddle bag.
At the same time Uoret had sought out Sister Garaele so that he could find his cousin. He was told that his cousin, who lives in a hamlet 2 hours walk east of town near a copper mine. Being late in the day Uoret returned to the Inn and all of the PC's shared their day's adventures. Both Flarty and Llied agreed to accompany Uoret to the village the next morning.
Meanwhile, Gwen had read the letter from Principal Baldric Hahn with instructions to take the contents of the letter and continue on to Selmerron. The letter provides directions to a tavern called Dagr i'r Galon (Dagger to the Heart) which is close to the docks you will arrive at. At the tavern you must meet the tavern owner Henwyneb Nist and tell him the following name “Latika Sarkar“ he will direct you to a person from whom you will receive a package. Throughout all of this your teacher warns you that you must be circumspect and not share these details with anyone.
The following morning Gwen books travel with a group who are going to Selmerron. Arriving after dusk the trip across the river is easy and the tavern is immediately apparent. The tavern is filled with song and very load. Gwen meets with the person and secretly hands her a very large package.
As Gwen is getting up to leave she literally bumps into Stero Kemp who is running towards the back door of the pub. Un-phased Stero Kemp tells Gwen to follow her and they both run out of the pubs back door. Before reaching the docks their path is blocked by a very large bugbear wielding a club and two goblins with daggers. Gwen overhears the goblins talking about how Pàra only paid them to kill one person not two. The bugbear tells the Goblins to shut up and get on with it.
Stero Kemp draws her Dirk and prepares for a fight. Gwen quickly casts a sleep spell, the first Goblin passes out and before it hits the ground the second Goblin also is forced to sleep. Before the Bugbear can even think about responding it too is slumping to the ground asleep. Stero Kemp turns to Gwen and quickly suggests that they continue to the docks.
Gwen and Stero Kemp cross the river and then get horses and quickly ride back to Jaileen, being followed by a group but at a distance. They did not stop and road all night and the through the next day. Only resting to drink water and quickly eat food and feed the horses.
While Gwen and Stero Kemp where returning from Selmerron, Llied, Uoret and Flarty walked to the hamlet and were surprised to find it filled with Zombies. After overcoming the Zombies and Llied finding clues to the Canus Cult (a leather patch with the symbol of a wolves paw, the same as that painted in blood on the house where her parents were killed). Continuing to explore the hamlet they find some children and in the copper mine some semi precious gems.
When Gwen and Stero Kemp return to the Inn they meet up with the other PCs and have a quick meeting. All agree to return to Garabas.
Riding back to Carninsby the PCs and Stero Kemp have some close calls but are able to ride and out pace anyone following them. Upon returning to Garabas, they plan on going with Flarty as he takes his special envelope and meet up with Serr Teirtu Glas's contact. While walking to the pub they notice Stero Kemp and decide to hide in shadows and follow her. She goes to the pub and after some time leaves the pub. Waiting for some time the PCs then go into the pub and  Flarty hands the special coin to the bar tender. He is pointed to a room in the back. Flarty then meets Marshall Ceallach Rimany  who co-ops Flarty and the PCs into investigating a deserted village Caer Barigez just south of Garabas.
The PCs investigate the Caer and see that it is guarded by Thieves who wear the Canus Cult tattoo. Llied cuts the tattooed skin off the gurad they find in the woods. They then circle the Caer and find a secret passage into the bottom of the Motte. Carefully advancing along the tunnel, Gwen sends ahead her familiar and it sees a Tylwyth Du sitting at a desk reading and writing by candle light.
A Battle is then started with the Tylwtyh Du is quickly dispatched but the noise attracts others who descend down a ladder and a fight begins. Between Gwen sleeping them, Uoret shooting them with arrows, Flarty bashing them with shield or slcing them with his Great Blows and finally Llied getting in a poke or two or three, the people of the Caer are dispatched. Unfortunately a Priest and his guards are allowed to escape. Searching the Manour House Gwen finds several letters which implicate several well known people in Garabas and which the Marshall thanks them for.
The Marshall also asks if the PCs would be interested in being Agents of the Order of the Dragon. And as compensation provides a small place for them to stay (first floor in a block of buildings close to the Bramble of Garabas).
