Backstory Summary

Wendel lived a relaxed life with his parents and two sisters on their little farm, until one day, the village got a visit from the human kingdom. Wendel hit the noble with a wagon while transporting wheat, which led to him leaving his home, in fear of what the noble and his guards might do to him if he got caught.
Wendel became wanted for this. He decided to never return home so that his family will not get involved in his problems. But this meant that he needed to find a way to earn a living. At first he tried different jobs, which did give him enough to live by, but no job could be permanent, since staying in one place for too long increased the risk that someone found out that he was wanted.
A lot of the jobs he took where often in the more crime-ridden parts of cities, leading to him often getting paid less than agreed on, or in other ways cheated out of his money. This led to him becoming mistrustful and cynical.
One day, he found an underground group who secretly offered to train him, and teach him special skills to help him get by. When he asked about how he could afford this when he had almost no money to live by, they told him, "We don't need your money. Instead, after you are done training, we will let you go and whatever you choose to do. But, one day we will contact you and have you do us a favour, as a payment for your training. When and how we will not tell, just know that the day will come."
Wendel was hesitant to accept but felt like he had no choice if he wanted to get by in the world.
The training was harsh, rigid, and with a very small room for error, but after 5 years of training, he finally finished the training. He went out into the world again, but only after a final reminder about the "favour" he would one day need to do.

My father is called Jasper, he works as a farmer, and was a very no-nonsense type of person. He later got very ill, to the point that the amount of work he could do got very limited.
My mother’s name was Portia. She helped on the farm but mostly took care of the house and me and my older sisters. She was a very sweet person, though could sometimes be a little too soft-hearted.
Yes, two sisters. The oldest one was called Pennie, and she moved away from home, when I was around around 6 years old and she was 21 years old, to become a performer, as she always wanted to travel and make people happy. The younger sister, though still older than me by 7 years, was named Thea was very wild, often getting into trouble for pranks she did, but had a very kind heart deep down. Decided to stay at the farm as she grew and help maintain it after our dad got ill,and have worked there ever since.
