The Old Gods

Once the most common faith held by humans, followers of the Old Gods are now few and far between. Only in a few parts of Elderen and in the settlements of the Expanse and along the Becna Coast does this religion flourish.
The Old Gods are a collection of various spiritual beings, said to have been born in an eternal ice that once covered the world. Their followers believe them to be both monsters and saviours who could as easily protect you from your foes or turn on you themselves, with the ability to shapeshift into the form of beasts and of man. Followers give sacrifices to praise the gods and in hopes of avoiding their wrath.
