Day 33
We went to the gate to wait and see if the guy wanted to meet with us there as we had asked the people in the district to ask him. While waiting for him, to no avail, we were spied on by another group of unidentified individuals. After some time, we decided to bail rather than standing around all day. While we were figuring out what to do next, I decided to try and use the “Locate Object” spell to try and see if one of the cultists/bandit’s ceremonial knives were around, and I got a small signal. After walking a good bit and with a few more casts, we located the knife to a table with a few people around it.
While Fjaldt and Iza kept up surveillance on them, me and Nyral rushed back to our room at the inn and fetched my other copy of the knife. With that in hand Nyral approached the table, but it seemed that the guy with the knife had no idea what it was and freaked out. We followed him to a building, outside of which we questioned a street urchin about who lived in the house. We were told that it was a lady of some kind and we knocked to meet her and learn more.
