United Future Coalition
Summary
The United Future Coalition is the largest of the major factions of Haven Alpha. Originally a loose alliance of few settlements, the UFC has since grown to incorporate a large number of settlements all across Haven Alpha and have solidified themselves into a proper political entity. They include a wide variety of races, and people from all time periods are welcome there. Since they've become so large many newly Awakened often stumble across UFC settlements, so they've created an education initiative to help such people adapt to their new lives.Settlements
Intersection City: The capital city of the UFC. It is primarily a trade hub, but it also produces a large amount of food through hydroponic farms. It's most famous feature is the Street Market, located in the titular main intersection of the city. The Undermarket: While technically not an official settlement in it's own regard, this large developed area below Intersection City is considered by many to be it's own entity: lawmen don't come down as frequently, gangs try to run as much of the show as they can, and merchants freely and openly put their more "questionable" goods up for sale.History
When the first people began waking up in Haven Alpha, there were no established settlements and the existing infrastructure was essentially useless. Inevitably people started banding together, and settlements began to form. The threat of the Necrilum was a constant issue however, and security was difficult to manage alone. Alliances began to develop between settlements, and slowly the United Future Coalition began to form. The capital of the UFC at this time was known as Hightower, a city formed around the largest of cloning facilities built underneath what is assumed to be some form of office district; this is where most of the original Awakened emerged into the city. The United Future Coalition faced its most difficult challenge since its inception in the year 211 since the Awakening. A faction arose within the government that believed that those from most advanced time periods should be the ones in control of everything, as they knew best how to operate the world around them and guide those less informed and experienced. Originally well intentioned, the continued dismissal of their ideas and proposals led this faction to rise to greater efforts to be acknowledged, all the while their following grew day by day, along with their frustrations. Things boiled over when the faction, now labelling themselves the True Heirs, staged a coup at Hightower and successfully took over the city. To this day there is constant conflict between the UFC and the True Heirs, and skirmishes between the two happen at least weekly.Maps

The UFC respects the way of the Old Path and help guide new Awakened to their camps if they are too overwhelmed by their new world. The Old Path appreciates this gesture, but prefers to keep the UFC at an arms length.
At War
The True Heirs were once a part of the UFC, but staged a successful military coup at Hightower in 211 PA to gain independence. They been in conflict ever since.
