The Undermarket

Summary

Due to the convoluted nature of the network of tunnels and chambers below Haven Alpha, the underground makes the perfect place for any fugitive to live and remain hidden for potentially their entire life. The Undermarket is just that: a haven for lowlifes, thugs, black marketeers, and other undesirables. The Undermarket is technically not it's own entity; officially it is just a district of Intersection City, but it's so large and hard to control that it's often left to it's own devices. The end result of this is the largest slum and black market on Haven Alpha. Lawmen rarely come down into the Undermarket, so gangs are given free range to try to grab as much power as they can.

Notable Gangs

Gorehawks: The Gorehawks are like the boogeymen of Intersection City. Their primary MO is to kidnap people that wander down into the Undermarket and steal any cybernetics they can rip of out them, though sometimes they venture up into the main city to find victims. Their process is often fatal.
