Aislingtown

Nestled at the foot of the Queen's Divide, a name of the the mountain range that separates Arnast from its neighbors to the south, Aislingtown is often lauded as the most peaceful town in Enos. Home to no more than three-thousand, this quaint village deals mostly in the trades of fishing, papermaking, and artifice sales. Its white cobblestone streets are well-maintained, and its buildings bear stained glass recently imported and retrofitted from Wynn's Summit on the dime of Carlisle Cormorant, the well-respected mayor of the city.

Life in Paradise

Since Carlisle's father Titus Cormorant took charge of the city some century ago, Aislingtown has transformed from a village of fishmongers that trade with Centurion across Latiss Primat into a place where the wealthy elite choose to retire. The influx of wealthy patrons has led to a boom in artifice trade in the town's Cormorant Auctionhouse, and the Pursuit's Papercraft facility housed in the city's old storage warrens holds the exclusive papermaking rights for the Primex Arcanium.   All of this is possible only because of the practical nonexistence of crime in and around Aislingtown. The town has no guards (though a small Centuri Security garrison is only ten miles to the east), and the local jail has set empty for nearly seven decades. No one in the town seems to recall any crime happening, and while most of them will concede it is definitely strange, no one seems to mind.

Pursuit's Papercraft

Helmed by Jaggart Spindleshare, a famed gnome inventor, Pursuit's Papercraft has built themselves up in the sixty-some years they have been in operation. Originally known for their ability to turn fishbone into paper, they have since revolutionized their business by producing Spindledust Paper - a kind of paper imbued with rare gem dust and magic that allows for the quick scribing of spellcraft with regular ink.

Cormorant Auctionhouse

Known for its trade in decorative magical items, the Cormorant Auctionhouse is the main attractor of out-of-town guests to the city. It sports its own kitchens, baths, and living quarters for its clientele, and is known to go to the extreme for its high-paying members. Its vaults are said to hold a dragon's horde worth of items and gold, and are the talk of much speculation about town.
