The power of the Erlithmanil ran dry and they became powerless. Humanity abandoned their once gods, even turning on them. Zalikar made a pact with Azryth to restore their divinity.

When the Erlithmanil had given away all of their magic, they became weak and powerless. Instead of supporting their gods, who had given them so much, they instead abandoned them, turn their backs on them or even attacking them out. With Wylrith on the brink of death, Lithmor turned to Luxis for aid. Luxis refused their request to return their power, favoring humanity. But as Zalikar turned to Azryth instead, the two of them formed a secret pact. In return, Azryth restored the Erlithmanil as the source of their elements once again and restored their divinity. However, they maintained the connection and access each lifeform possessed, allowing them to keep their racial magic.
