Xishi Shamo

Otherwise known as the western wastes or stony wastes, this is a vast and arid region acting as a natural barrier between Zhongguo and Eluziar. Massive and at times breathtaking stone cities and architecture crafted by Ylithuum now lay empty. This region thrived under Ylithuum's eye but, ever since the battle in which their matron was slain, these cities are believed to be horribly haunted.

While this region marks the northern border with the Frozen Wastes, both icy and blazing deserts can be found in this vast rocky region, occasional oasis and rocky structures acting as safe havens. While this was once part of a massive trade route, with sea routes now opening trade between Yaxiya and Eluziar, old trade routes have dwindled here. Despite this, piracy in southern waters keeps these watering holes going.
