Sultan Theodosious II is the current head of House of Aquilar, and sultan of Belkar for the last 28 years. Now in his late 50's, The sultan has ruled over 25 years of uniterupted peace. This rule has resulted in a boom in population, welath for nobles and peasants alike.

Recently at the Karul Ti Of Driftwood a number of noble houses led by House Ironhelm has declared independance, leading to the sultan decalring them outlaws.
