Nigel Evergreen
History
Born in 1088 to “Unknown” , Nigel Evergreen is head of House Evergreen and the oldest head of House in Belkar at 84. The town of Oakreach Is still loyal to Nigel, though some of that is wavering.
Inheriting the title of head of house officially in 1100, at the age of twelve, when his father was poisoned by his brother “unknown”. The brother then ruled as regent for Nigel for 14 years, before he mysteriously disappeared.
Nigel married a wealthy merchants daughter from Tideport and had children almost immediately. 9 in total over the next 50 years. As each one came to maturity, they were banished or disappeared in mysterious circumstances. Rumours always swirled throughout Oakreach, suggesting Nigel killed or planted evidence to banish his children fearing insurrection:
In 1170, the youngest son, Stokeworth Evergreen, and heir to the house, fled the city with the Silverstring Bowman, saying Nigel sought to murder him.
Nigel denied this and has declared his son tried to poison him, which might be true, as he is visually weak and sickly now, infected with Winthrop’s leprosy declared his son an outlaw, and started to train his own city militia to replace the Silverstring bowman.
This leads to a problem of succession, as all of Nigel’s children are now gone, so only time will tell what happens. There are at least 5 children who have been banished, so perhaps one of them will return and reconnect with Nigel.

Nigel Evergreen, head of House Evergreen is now old and sickly, being infected with Winthrop’s Leperasy by his son Stokeworth Evergreen.
