General Myer Jakson

Myer Jackson is the uncle of the current Emperor of Jakonia. He has served in the Imperial Army his entire life, with some distinction. In his youth, he knew he was destined to become a soldier, and he constantly watched and followed the drills of the armed forces whenever they would take place. He enjoyed nothing more than witnessing a military parade. When he turned eighteen he finished his basic education within the Imperial University, and was granted an officer's commission in the Imperial Army, after turning down one for the Imperial Marines.
During the next sixty years he moved slowly up the ranks, gaining a reputation for competent caution in battle circumstances. For the most part he was involved in the suppression of uprisings within the Nasite lordships, fighting urban and village battles against unruly rebels. He gained several victories, and only a handful of defeats. He continued to serve with distinction until the Nasah 1028 riots, when his age began to catch up with him. His carriage was assaulted by Starshine Front militants, and overturned. He lost a leg in the fight, and was left for dead by the rebels. Although his family paid to have the leg regenerated, he took it as a sign of it being time for retirement from active duty.
The Emperor, unwilling to lose one of his most competent family members to retirement, offered instead for him to take a promotion to General and become the de facto ruler of the town of Northgate. In 1029, Myer assumed the position, and finally was promoted to General. He is widely respected among the Imperial Army soldiers within the city, and apparently attempts to do his best to maintain order. While he has demonstrated a firm hand towards any signs of unrest or dissent, he seems to be having a tougher time keeping together the bureaucrats and other civilians, and corruption seems to be a bit of an weakness, despite his own personal incorruptible reputation.
