Darrendal

The Imperial Capital Darrendal is the biggest city in Darrenland and the capital of the United Empire of Emdar as well as the capital city of Darrenland. It is home to the Imperial House Darren.
Its most recognizable feature is The Venrok , a rocky mount that has been the spiritual and political center of the region long before the United Empire of Emdar was ever formed. Standing on the zenith of the Venrok gives you a fair view of the sprawling city that sprung up around it.
The city has a second hill, the Kronrok, which is little smaller but of equal height of the first, on which the Imperial Palace is built. Kronrok is connected to Venrok by a closely guarded bridge that spans most of the city, supported by several towers. This bridge, known as the Imperial Walkway is the only easy way up to the palace, as the Kronrok itself is considered unscalable.
