Qoynish

Descended from the slaves of Qoyne's ancient elven kingdoms, this ethnic group now dominate the eastern continent where they were once subjugated. They are generally tall, slim, and fair or sallow-skinned, with brown or hazel eyes, and black hair.

Culture and Society

The Qoynish tend to value social harmony and unity. Those raised within the Empire of Qoyne often carry a fierce loyalty to their homeland and devotion to its ruler. Qoynish society is highly egalitarian and meritocratic, with a strong emphasis on serving one's community. This is codified as law in the Empire, where citizenship is coveted, and requires over a decade of servitude to the state to achieve. Class divisions are less noticable than elsewhere on Eltár, with the most significant disparity appearing between Qoynish Imperial citizens, and non-citizens.
