• Desperate Intervention (Passive). When you or an another character is about to be dealt damage from a spell or attack that would kill them, Aurelius appears and suffers the damage instead. He then joins the initiative order directly after the last creature to act. Due to injuries sustained from the Pillar of Creation, his hit point maximum is reduced to 190, and he only has access to 1 Legendary Resistance per day, and 1 Legendary Action per round. You can communicate telepathically with Aurelius while he is within 240 feet of you.
• Ascended (Active). As an action, you choose a creature you can see within 120 feet. For the next 1 minute, your weapon attacks against that creature score a Critical Hit on a roll of 16-20. This ability cannot be used until Aurelius is reduced to 0 hit points or is dismissed (either using a reaction in response to him taking or dealing damage, or as bonus action on your turn).
