Suka has made a career for himself as a stagecoach driver, not a fast one or a risk-taker, but the steady kind that will not get distracted from his responsibilities. (Until he has his layover at a town, that is, because that's when all the entertaining Local Drama crawls out of the weeds.) He won the contract with the Freecities League tax assessors to drive the mailcoach route because he is willing to pass by any distractions short of "bandit attack in progress right in front of me" to keep his cargo intact. He knows at least five alternative tracks on any given leg of his delivery route so that he can skirt wide of hazards.
