Fa'lain Omat Language in Legends of Elohey | World Anvil

Fa'lain Omat

Sometimes erroneously called "Elven sign language" by people in the World Beyond the Mountains, Fa'lain Omat is a visual language form (mostly hand gestures) of Fa'lain. It was invented by the Forest Wardens. Ideally, the communicators don small rings made from acorns and such, worn near the fingertips, that gently but steadily glow certain colors; this way, people can communicate in avalanche conditions without excess noise. Or at night in a blizzard.

Geographical Distribution

Frequent usage of this language is exclusively limited to the kingdom of Samakar.
