Valerie "Maul"
Valerie "Maul" was a Mountain Dwarf Pirate Fighter active around the year 1106. Maul was best known for her battle mastery in melee combat. She had a particular flair when engaged in combat: Maul would use winged boots to surprise and gain advantage over her opponents by swinging down with her literal maul from the air. This aerial attack proved to be too much for many of Maul's foes through the years.
By the year 1106, Maul found herself taken up in an adventuring party based in Stagshead in Talevir.
SIEGE OF THE LICH'S TOMB
A strange high-pitched scratching noise caught Maul's attention just before ZRRRP! Two figures emerged from the teleportation circle, mere meters from Zeek's phylactery. "Not so fast!" Maul thought and with a deft reaction, crushes the closest with her maul. She saw her opportunity and seized it. Maul then unleashed a fury and delivered the most brutal attack her fellow adventurers will have ever seen. Again and again, the maul made contact with the intruder, until a final blow cracked the intruders skull in two. The victory could not have been more swift or decisive, as Maul proved once again why they call her a Master.Following a significant earthquake in the Deer Valley region of Talevir, the Lord's Alliance summoned Maul's group of adventurers and tasked them with the job of securing the Tomb of the Lich Lord, Zeek. Once at the tomb, the adventurers found that the tomb's defenses were seriously compromised. The six adventurers bravely fought off waves of attackers that were attempting to obtain Zeek's phylactery. The party successfully defended the tomb until the Lord's Alliance was able to round up a large force of mages and alliance members to help re-seal the tomb. Not much is known of Maul's later adventures at this time.
