Thixotropy

Thixotropy was a Tiefling Warlock adventurer who was affiliated with the entrepreneur Octavius Tassian. Unbeknownst to their fellow travelers, Thixotropy was using their adventures as an opportunity to hone skills intended to be used in devious and villainous ways. With a secret ulterior motive, Thixotropy framed the adventures with Octavius's party as opportunities to practice deception and manipulation.

OCTAVIUS'S MOCK DUNGEON

That fool, Cassian, kept staring at the stone. The riddle was simple. The party just needed to find the right key and the stone door would open. As the party read the words inscribed on the wall once more, Thixotropy rolled their eyes. The key was most likely down the next passageway, and Thixotropy would be the one to find it. With that, they turned and pushed down the hallway. Behind Thixotropy, the sound of sudden cries of pain and a small fireball erupting into the chamber. Morons. The sooner they finish this job, the better.

Thixotropy made an acquaintance with five other adventurers near Stagshead. At a tavern in Stagshead, the group accepted an invitation to an interview at a mock dungeon. With the promise of stable income, they made their way east towards the mysterious mock dungeon. Thixotropy took it upon themselves to act as the party's primary scout throughout the ordeal in the dungeon.
The party was successful in passing Octavius's interview and all accepted offers of contracted work for the eccentric entrepreneur. It is unclear whether Thixotropy fulfilled their end of the contract, as there are few records of their name beyond the interview with Octavius.
